This year I have to choose the second language. I had thinking a lot of time in it, and finally I decided to choose French.
My God¡¡¡ I didn't know what I was doing¡¡¡
I have to say that I had never studied french before, and obviously I didn't think that probably you had to have previous knowledges. So, you can see now I feel like a mouse in a mousetrap.
Therefore in this moment I think that english language it's the most easy language in the world¡¡¡¡
I can't pronounce a word in french without my english pronunciation, I can't understand the articles, the plurals, ... I can't to stop to think in english.
And probably I can see my summer in a french academy trying to get some idea of this brother language and then can pass the exam...in September.

i think the same!!!
For me the french is more dificult than the english, but for another people are easy...i hate the french!!! And don`t forget if you go to Paris or another frech city, the people hate speak in english.
I have serius problems in Paris to find the places,in the hotel...becouse everybody don`t undestand me!!
Is my english or the english?
See you soon!!!
I also think that English is easier than French but I also think that when you start to study a language it seems more complicated.
Next year is likely to begin studying French, I know it will be difficult but I can not be afraid or hate...
I’m thinking in choose French as a second language next year but I’ve never studied it.
From my point of view, English is not easier than French. The problem is that the most of us have studied English since the School and we become more familiar with English than with French.
So, learning French must be our challenge not a trouble!!
So, go for it!!
Hi Sonia
I like you go on writing here. It's the best way to practise and don't worry, because you can learn French by contrasting the two languages. Although at the beginning it's a bit difficult, I'm sure you'll learn it.
Just a few comment about the English witting.
"...a second language..", better with the indefinite article
"I had been thinking about it a lot of time and" you need “been” in order the tense is correct and also the preposition "about".
"Previous knowledge…· “Knowledge” is an uncountable noun, so you need to use it in singular form.
"At this moment…English language…the easiest language in ..." “now” = at this moment” with the preposition “at”. Remember the names of languages are always written in capital letters. “easy” is a short adjective so you form the superlative by changing “y” by “I” and adding “-est” to the base form.
"I can’t pronounce a word in French without my English accent” Accent here is the right word.
I can’t stop thinking in English" After “stop” you have to use a verb in the gerund form.
“… in a French academy …so that I can pass…" Don’t forget the subjects and "so that" it's use with a clause to mean "purpose".
You write quite well, so don't worry, you can improve you English and at the same time learn French.
Happy Christmas!
See you.
Hi Borja
Remember that the name of languages are written in Capital letters "French is more difficult than English"
"another + singular noun" "other + plural noun". "for other people French is easy". "I hate French". Don't forget that "I" is always written in Capital letters and so is "French".
"the people there hate speaking..."
"I had serious problems to find the places I wanted in Paris" Remember the word order and also that you're speaking about the past, so use the past simple.
"Nobody understood me" "is it my English or "the English language itself?"
See you soon!
Hi Rosana
"...it's likely I start..."
Sometimes contrasting languages it's an easy way to learn another language.
bye.
Hi Maria
"I think about / of choosing" remember that we use a gerund after a preposition.
"most of us..." without the article "the".
See you!
Hi Sonia
Well, I think that initially all languages are difficult.
The French language is new for you and the principle of going to cost a little safe but after that you will not have a problem.
I wanted a second language of choice between French and German. In the end, take German and also I like.
See you soon!
